Larry Daniel, 82 of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away June 21, 2026. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jean; children, Scott Daniel (Morgan) and Preston Daniel (Anna Marie); grandchildren, Grant Daniel, Sadie Daniel & Fischer Daniel; one sister ; many nieces & nephews and cousins; his faithful dog, Jake.

As a young man, after attending Ferrum College, Larry returned to his family furniture business, (Daniel's Wayside Furniture). He then started Daniel's Camperland Inc. in the late 60's. Later on, he fulfilled his dream by opening up Cozy Acres Campground on July 4th 1974 along with his farm. He was a man of many talents and enjoyed fun times, especially his winters in Florida. He will be greatly missed.
