Lawson Preston Tunstall

Lawson Preston Tunstall, 63 of Powhatan, passed away September 18, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry William Tunstall, Jr. and Frances Violet Tunstall; sister, Shauna Tunstall; biological-father, Joseph C. Jacobs, Sr.; step-father, Maxie A. Bradley; siblings, Robert E. Jacobs, James M. Bradley and Jeannette E. Bradley.

Lawson is survived by his daughters, Lauren Goasa-Tunstall and Lindsey Tunstall; biological family; mother, Barbara Bradley; siblings, Patricia Jacobs, Chris Jacobs (Georgian), Dorothy Breeding and Roy Bradley; and many nieces and nephews. He loved to watch Football and wrestling, he collected baseball cards and hot wheel cars. He had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger,and was a gas pipe fitter who was proud of his work. He was funny, outgoing, and had a compassionate heart. He will be missed.

The Family will recieve friends Monday, September 29, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home. Followed by a graveside service at 3:00 PM in the Powhatan Community Cemetery, Old Buckingham Road, Powhatan, VA 23139.
