Powhatan
Lois Marie Riffe, 98 of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away August 22, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Lydia Noonkester; husband, Eugene (Gene) Riffe; son, Dennis Ray; and daughter, Terrie Riffe Adams.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Riffe (Pat Key); and three grandsons. Lois was a "Mom to Many". Her best friend, Sandy Padgett, provided many hours of company and deep conversations about God, and yes, Aliens!
Lois was an extraordinary woman. She suffered through many trials and losses, but never did her faith in God waiver nor did she allow anyone or anything to shake her dignity.
A Graveside Service was held Friday, August 29, 2025 in the Greenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
