Lola Earleen Johnson

October 14, 1931 — August 30, 2022

Lola Earleen Johnson age 90, passed away August 30,2022. She was born on October 14, 1931, in Jeffersonville, Arkansas to Bonnie Henry Collins and Ella Ree Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers. She leaves behind her sons, Mike Johnson and Jim Johnson, both of Virginia, brothers Milt Collins of Cookeville TN., and Frank Collins, Pinckney, MI. Her grandchildren include Julie, David, Erin, Courtney, and Sara; and many great grandchildren. She also leaves behind very good friends. It has been often said that if one dies with just 5 good friends, you are blessed. Lola has been truly blessed.

Lola married the love of her life, James Edmond Johnson in 1950. Lola will be remembered as a humble, unassuming, and caring woman who was born to serve others. She was a great listener whose face erupted with a smile when around her family and friends.
Lola was an amazing wife, mother, big sister, and grandmother. Her family was always the center of her life. In her later life, she worked alongside her husband and was instrumental in the success of their businesses. It is safe to say that Lola spoiled her husband, sons and brothers.
Lola will be greeted in heaven by her husband's outstretched hand and the welcoming embrace of Jesus Christ.
A graveside service will be held, Sunday, September 4, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Powhatan Community Cemetery.
