Lucinda "Cindy" Lou Presley

Lucinda "Cindy" Lou Presley,69, of Powhatan, Virginia passed away on May 28, 2022. She was born to Frank and Shirley Pumphrey on January 11, 1953 in Weston, West Virginia. In 1972 , Cindy married Wallace Presley in Fort Knox, Kentucky. She is survived by her husband, Wallace Presley, her children and their spouses, Damon and Christi Presley and Melissa and Matt Ridenhour, her 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, her mother, Shirley Pumphrey and her sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and John Mitchell.
She spent her life loving Jesus and loving and serving her family. She paid attention to details, making every family gathering or time with friends beautiful and memorable. She was a master at creating delicious food and the perfect atmosphere. Over the years she led worship in multiple churches, encouraging people to trust in Jesus the way that she so evidently did. She loved to sing and she passed down her love and talent to her grandchildren. She has left a lasting legacy of honoring God and each other.
Cindy will be honored in a celebration of life service on June 2, 2022 at 11:00 at Community Life Church located at 2410 New Dorset Circle, Powhatan, Virginia with a reception at Wallace Presley's home. There will be a viewing Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home located at 3215 Anderson Highway, Powhatan, Virginia.
