MCBRAYER, Lucy J., 77, of Powhatan, widow of Ed McBrayer, passed on May 8, 2012. She is survived by daughters, Jackie Kirby, Faye McBrayer (Konrad), Lula McBrayer-Leach (Robert), Maggie Herring; sons, Ashton Kirby, Samuel Kirby (Lynn) Jeff Kirby, Thomas Herring; ten grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon - 1:30 pm at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan. Graveside services will be Friday 2 pm in the Powhatan Community Cemetery.
