Marshall Edwin Davis

Marshall Edwin Davis, 87, of Powhatan went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Nancy Barden Davis; daughters, Jeanette Davis and Pamela Goetz (Robert); sisters, Irene Speas Wyatt and Mary Jane Dabney; and brother Jerry Lee Davis.  He was predeceased by his parents, Edwin Dale Davis and Virginia Davis Jenkins and brothers John Davis and Jimmy Davis. Edwin was a master electrician, co-founder of Davis & Green, and spent years self-employed as M. E. Davis Electrical Contractor.  He was a dedicated member of Red Lane Baptist Church for over 60 years serving as trustee, deacon, and in a number of services roles.  Edwin loved life at Lake Gaston.  Visitation will be held at Red Lane Baptist Church on April 14 at 10:00am followed by a memorial service at 11:00am.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Powhatan County Fire and Rescue Department.
