Mary Ann Riggan,76, of Palmyra, formerly of Powhatan, widow of Carl Riggan, passed away June 15, 2015. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Black (Rob) of Palmyra, Robin Hendel (Paul) of Powhatan; two grandchildren, William Hendel (Ashley) of Powhatan, Carrie Hendel (Glenn) of Idaho and three great-grandchildren. Mary Ann was a lifetime member of Powhatan Volunteer Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan.
