Mary Lou Koehler

Mary L. Koehler, 91, of Powhatan, widow of Heinz A.M. Koehler, Sr., died November 12, 2015. She is survived by her son, Heinz (Marty) Koehler, Jr. (Carmen) of Georgia; daughter, Marta Catherine Riemer (Chris) of Maryland; grandchildren, Kiel, Brett, James Koehler, Julia, John, Anna Riemer and a special companion, Bruno. Mrs. Koehler was the first female Supervisor to hold office for the Powhatan County Board of Supervisors. She was a graduate of Union Memorial Nurses Training Program in Baltimore, Md.
