February 15, 1953 — March 24, 2026

Mary Chloe Collier Revels, 73, of Powhatan, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving daughter Krista (Marc)

Avinger, parents, Edward and Cleo Collier; brother, Robert "Rock"

Collier; sisters, Barbara Givens, Kay Gonzolez, Linda Skinner, and

Delorus Howard.

Mary is survived by her husband Sam Revels, son David (Kelly) Revels,

daughter Amy (Walt) Ingram; brothers, Rex Collier, Robbie (Kathy)

Collier, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and friends.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

She was a devoted wife, sister, and friend who found her greatest joy

in being surrounded by those she loved. Mary had a special gift for

making every moment feel worth celebrating. No occasion was too small.

She brought people together with warmth, laughter, and a smile that

could light up any room. Her infectious laugh and caring spirit made

everyone feel welcome, and she truly never met a stranger.

Mary retired from DuPont, where she worked for over 40 years. During

her time there, she formed many lasting friendships, and her coworkers

became like family to her.

She had a deep love for travel and adventure, always eager to explore

new places and create lasting memories with family and friends.

Whether near or far, Mary treasured the experiences she shared with

those closest to her.

Mary and her daughter Krista shared a special bond through their love

of Kenny Chesney. Together, they were proud members of "No Shoes Nation"

and attended many of his concerts, creating joyful memories they

cherished deeply.

Above all, Mary was always there for her family and friends. She was a

constant source of comfort, support, and compassion. She was someone

you could count on in any moment of need. Her caring nature and

generous heart touched countless lives. Mary will be deeply missed and

forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving

her.

Sam would like to extend his appreciation to Amedisys Hospice for the loving and gentle care they gave to Mary and the rest of the family.
