Maxine Cable went to her heavenly home, on July 8th, 2026. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Terry Cable; and a Daughter, Crystal Moreland; Grandchildren, Kenny Wingo (Jennifer); and great grandchildren, Lochlan and Killian Wingo. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Sarah and Kenneth Ownby; along with her brother, Guthrie Ownby; and sisters, Cecile McCarter, Muriel Sorensen, BettyAnn Watkins, Ruby Ownby, and Margie Simmon. She is also survived by a brother, Shirl Ownby; and a sister, Joyce Donner; and many nieces and nephews. She loved spending time in her garden and nobody left the house hungry.

The family will recieve friends on Friday July 10th at Bennett & Barden Funeral home from 6PM - 8PM. a graveside service will be held Saturday July 11th at 2PM at Cartersville cemetery on Cartersville Rd.
