Michael Gene Hill, 65, of Powhatan, went to be with the Lord Saturday September 19, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Edward Hill, Sr.; brother, Jimmie Edward Hill, Jr.; daughter, Katie Hope Morrison; step-daughter, Angel Marie Carlton; grandson, Thomas Hollyfield.

Mike is survived by his wife, Amanda Yvonne Hill; mother, Delores Hill; daughter, Melissa Morrison; step-daughter, Dawn Hollyfield; grandson, Donald Edward Hollyfield, Jr.; granddaughter, Charlee Carlton; sisters, Pam Thieberger, Linda Bryant; brother, Gary Hill, Butch Hill, Ricky Hill and numerous other family and friends.

Mike enjoyed working in his yard, yardsaling, piddling with cars, picking on family and being a jokster.

A Celebration of life will be held 2 PM Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson HWY. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Childrens Hosptial, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
