Michael L. Kormanec

Michael L. Kormanec passed away on June 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Kormanec; father, David Kormanec and brother, David Kormanec. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Leigh Kormanec Pittman; children, Lelia Kormanec, Caleb Kormanec; step daughter, Tiffany Johnson Smith; sister, Lisa Kormanec; sister in law, Connie Kormanec, and granddaughter, Harleigh Kormanec. Michael was a steel fabricator all his life, owning his own business for several years. When he wasn’t working, he was either in the woods hunting or on the water casting a rod. An avid outdoorsman, Michael loved sharing these pastimes with his family and friends. The family will receive friends 6 PM to 8 PM Thursday July 1, at Bennett and Barden Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3215 Anderson HWY, Powhatan.
