Michael Shumaker, 76 of Powhatan, formerly of Richmond, Virginia, passed away October 2, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Pat Shumaker; son, Brian Shumaker (Beth); step-children, Sharon Franklin, Jimmy Clarke and Robbie Clarke; brother, David Shumaker; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, Powhatan from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A service will be held at 2:00 PM in the Amelia Veterans Cemetery, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia VA.
