Michael Bruce Sikes

Michael Bruce Sikes, 67, of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away on December 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sikes and Marjorie Bowles; and daughter, Rachel Mounayar. Mike is survived by his wife of 33 years, Valerie F. Sikes; son, Mitri Mounayar (Lisa); grandchildren, Lynzy Mounayar, Myles Mounayar and Alexander Mounayar; brothers, Joe Sikes, Reiche Sikes, J.C. Sikes, Keith Sikes; sister, Sarah Sikes.

 One of Michael's favorite pass times was Fishing & Camping at Hatteras and Ocracoke Island, N.C. along with shell hunting. He enjoyed hunting & Fishing with his children and grandchildren. Mike also treasured the times he spent with his brother-in-law Guy Widmeyer, fishing, hunting and just hanging out together outside on our deck.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Passion Community Church - Powhatan Campus, 4480 Anderson Highway, Powhatan, VA 23139.
