February 21, 1942 — January 19, 2025
Amelia Court House
Mose Thomas Short, 82 of Amelia, VA.was taken home with the Lord and got his set of wings on January 17th. He was a wonderful husband, father and man. He will be greatly missed. Mose was preceded in death his father, Arthur Short; mother, Stella Hudgins; brother, Frank Short; and grandson, Jonathan Corcoran.
Mose is survived by his wife, Hattie Short, shy of 62 years; brother, Basel Bales; one son, Ricky Short; 2 daughters, Susie (Kevin) Corcoran and Mary (Eddie) Martin; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Steven) Adams, Michelle (Brandon) Corcoran, Jeremiah Short and Joshua Fleischman; four great grandchildren, Jon Corcoran, Cedric Adams, Thomas Adams and Berkley Adams.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Full gospel Church, 5410 Old Buckingham Road, Powhatan. Where a service will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Interment Trinity Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com
