Nancy Jurca

Nancy L. Jurca, 91, of Powhatan, passed peacefully at home on January 1, 2026, surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by, her husband William G. Jurca Sr.; her parents Charles and Burnetta Burke; her sister Caryl Baraniak, and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children, William G. Jurca, Jr. (Kathy) of Texas, Cheryl Ingraham (Ike) of West Virginia, Lynn Jurca of Powhatan, VA, Sue Adams (Kevin) of Louisa, VA; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose loving gracious spirit was felt by family, friends and anyone that met her.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and volunteering for causes that touched her heart. She was a faithful member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, North Chesterfield, Virginia.

A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, time and date to be determined.

The family wants to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Crater Community Hospice.
