Nicholas Anthony Ryan

Nicholas Anthony Ryan, 23, of Powhatan, VA, passed away on July 17, 2025, in Richmond, VA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Highway, Powhatan, with the Reverend Tony Ryan of the Universal Life Church, officiating. Nicholas was born in Renton, WA, to Tony and Michelle Ryan on March 1, 2002. He attended high school in Powhatan and earned his AA degree from Brightpoint Community College. He worked as a training assistant at the Powhatan YMCA.                                    Nicholas was preceded in death by Ethel P. Ryan, his paternal grandmother.                                                                                                          Nicholas is survived by his brother, Christopher, of Midlothian, VA; his parents, Tony and Michelle, of Powhatan; his paternal grandfather, Raymond W. Ryan, of Powhatan; his maternal grandparents, Lynn and Karen Oswald, of Burien, WA; his aunt Tammara and his uncle William Kask, of Renton, WA; his aunt Kelly and uncle Sean Campbell, of Powhatan; and his uncle Kerry, of Powhatan, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
