Patricia Ann Brogdon, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on March 16, 1947, Patricia lived a life rooted in love, family, and the simple joys that made every day meaningful.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Fair Brogdon Jr; her parents, Hurley E. Wilkerson and Dorothy Sears Wilkerson; her treasured son, Kenneth Matthew Brogdon; her brothers, Kenneth and Stephen Wilkerson; her precious granddaughter, Melissa Ann Tenney; and her lifelong best friend, Judy Logue.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters, Hope Brogdon and Jacqueline Lowe (Eddie); and her beloved nephew, who was more like a son, Stephen “Billy” Wilkerson.
Patricia was a proud and loving grandmother to Tiffany Lunsford (Chris), Jasmine Quick (Jay), Kimberly Robinson (Traon), Glen Pettis Jr., Tabitha Goode (Jordan), and Levi Pettis. Her legacy continues through her adored great-grandchildren: Victoria, Faith, Traon Jr., Jaidyn, Kamori, Nora, Noah, June, Grayson, Naomi, Amos, and Jordan Jr. She is also survived by her dear sister, Helen Faye Kim-Vaughn, along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Patricia found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved all animals—especially raccoons, which held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed bird watching, tending to her flowers, and spending peaceful moments outdoors. She had a strong hand when playing cards and never turned down a good game. She also had a deep love for Scrabble, delighting in building words, showing off her vocabulary, and playfully competing with family and friends around the table.
Her home was always a place of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. Patricia’s strength, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, her beautiful legacy of love will continue for generations to come.
