Patrick Todd Robinson

Patrick Todd Robinson, 53, of Powhatan, born May 19, 1970, left us unexpectedly to be with his lord and savior on December 31, 2023, in Prince George, VA. Patrick was well known to his community as "Frog". Most knew Frog as the gentle giant with a big heart. 
Patrick completed his high school career at Powhatan High School in 1989. He later served in the National Guard followed by a tree service trade. Patrick then found a new love for horses and became a farm laborer. Patrick also enjoyed Nascar, fishing and the Florida Gators.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Pauline "Peggy" Southward, step-father, Aubrey Southward; sister Jennifer Robinson and lifelong friend Donnie Newman.

Patrick is survived by his brothers, Chris (Heather) Robinson, Scott Robinson; sister, Kathy (Steve) Robinson Best; his bestest of friends, Larry (Diana Lackey) Snellings, Paul Hanuska Jr., Clay Robinson "brother from another mother", Chrys Wilkinson, and Cherie (Carter) Lee. 

The family will receive friends to honor and celebrate Patrick's life January 13, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Bennett and Barden Funeral Home in Powhatan, VA, his service will immediately follow.

Please join the family in paying final tribute to Patrick "Frog" Robinson, a beloved son, brother, and friend. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A reception will be held at the Powhatan Moose Lodge, 4140 Old Buckingham Road, Powhatan, VA, 23139 immediately after service.  Please reach out to Cherie Lee if you wish to bring a dish to the reception.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made by donating, through the Bennett & Barden website, to assist with offsetting funeral expenses.
