We are saddened to share that our beloved mother, Priscilla Grinolds, joyfully reunited with her devoted husband, Cecil, and the Lord on June 11, 2026.

Born on July 7, 1941, in St. Marys, PA, Priscilla spent her early years in Emporium, PA. She graduated with honors from Jamestown Business College, preparing for a career as a medical secretary. A blind date introduced her to Cecil, and from that moment forward, theirs was a love story marked by devotion, partnership and enduring faith.

She was a loving and faithful wife for 64 years and the cornerstone of her family. She cherished her role as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and took immense pride in the lives and accomplishments of her three children Teresa (Joe) Dornish, Tina Grinolds, and April (Dave) Jaconski; her six grandchildren Amber Kestler, Odyssey (Aaron) Marshall, Brittany (Drew) Howell, Tiffany (Brandon) Gerrald, Cole (Thomas Reiker) Jaconski, and Sophie Jaconski; and her ten great-grandchildren AJ, Austin, and Autumn Kestler; Adelle and Vivian Howell; Hunter, Lila, Charlotte, and Ava Marshall; and Elaine Gerrald. She will also be deeply missed by her beloved brother, Norm Reitz, as well as her nieces, nephew, extended family, and many dear friends whose lives she touched. Her love for her family was constant, unwavering and evident in every word and every moment she shared.

Priscilla possessed a rare and beautiful gift for caring for others, especially children. She graciously opened her home as a foster parent, lovingly helped raise her grandchildren, and operated her own daycare for more than 10 years. Through her care, she created a safe and nurturing environment for countless children, leaving a lasting imprint on the families she served.

Her faith guided her life and her actions. She was an active member of the churches she attended and dedicated much of her time to serving in nursery ministries, including at Gospel Light Baptist Church. Her quiet acts of service and steadfast devotion reflected a life lived in humble faith and love.

In her later years, Priscilla and her husband Cecil were residents of Anchored in Peace, where they were surrounded by compassion, dignity and attentive care. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Misty Berry and their caregivers for their exceptional kindness, unwavering support and the genuine love they showed to both Priscilla and Cecil. Their care brought comfort and peace during a very difficult chapter of their lives.

Priscilla will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her warm and welcoming heart, her wisdom, and her enduring commitment to preserving the stories and memories of her family. Her legacy is one of quiet strength, selfless love and faithful service.

In accordance with her wishes, a private family celebration of her life will be held at a future date.

The family invites those who knew and loved Priscilla to honor her memory by embracing their loved ones, extending kindness to others and living out their faith. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cure Alzheimer's Fund, American Cancer Society, or Gospel Light Baptist Church.
