Ruby Carter Robinson

June 8, 2024   God received our beautiful mother and best friend, Ruby Carter Robinson,
At the age of 93, widow of George L. Robinson Sr.
"Mama" loved us "all" with her entire being and instilled in us that same capacity to love.
She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Carter Jr, and Michael Carter.  Daughters, Debbie Mannix,
Belinda Glidewell, Kathy Woodard and Connie Saunders.
She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, including a great granddaughter, namesake "Ruby" Louise Saunders, due in two weeks.
She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for various companies and had a strong work ethic.
She was especially blessed, after her retirement, to spend a great deal of time with two of her grandsons, Gary (Pookie) Saunders, and Gage Saunders, whom she deeply adored.
Her memory and the legacy of her unconditional love and strength will be instilled in us forever.

Our family would like to express gratitude to the entire care team of Ascend Hospice who were a God Send.
And special thanks to our brother "Mick", mom's primary caregiver this past year, and John, who both made it possible to keep her at home, where she "so wanted to be!"
Our prayers go to all families who experience the devastating effects of dementia on a loved one.
 We pray for Strength, Peace, Unity and Hope as we move forward as a family.
