Russell Watson Farley

Russell Watson Farley,77, of Powhatan passed away June 29, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father Russell D. Farley; aunt and uncle, Mayme F. Garrett, Melvin L. Garrett (who raised him). He is survived by his wife of 58 years Joan Farley; daughter, Christina F. Waller (Greg Meade); granddaughter, Rebecca E. Richmond (Nicholas); great grandson, Wyatt Farley Richmond, a great grandson arriving in October 2017, Sawyer James Richmond and a host of cousins and friends. Russell was a member of Powhatan Rescue Squad for 26 years and was a life member. He was an Auxiliary Deputy with Powhatan County Sheriffs Office for 9 years. A memorial service will be held July 8, 2017 at 2 pm at the Powhatan Rescue Squad Training Center (old bingo building), 3920 Marion Harland Lane, Powhatan (casual dress).
