Sallie Mae Pleasants

PLEASANTS, Sallie Hurt, 82, of Cartersville, passed away July 17, 2016. She is survived by her husband, Hugh Berk Pleasants, Jr.; five children, Berk Pleasants III (Sharon), David Pleasants (Melissa), Darlene Pelot (Bill), Hunter Pleasants (Pam), Kathy Seal; four siblings, 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon in the Powhatan Community Church, 4480 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan, followed with a funeral service at 12 noon.
