MARCHAND, Sally Jean, age 88, peacefully passed away on April 24, 2026, with family by her side. She was a long-time resident of Powhatan, VA and was living in the Bellgrade Estates Senior Living facility in Midlothian at the time of her death.

Born on September 17, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Marchand and her son, Bryan Marchand. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Stephens (Fred) of Powhatan, VA and Cheryl Marchand of Colorado Springs, CO; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She enjoyed being with her family and friends and was an active member of the Powhatan Methodist Church up until her declining health.

Sally and the family are especially grateful for the wonderful care and support provided by ACG Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Powhatan Methodist Church.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
