He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; children, Rebecca (Tom), Bethany, Michael (Emily); and his grandchildren, Thomas, Margaret, Katherine, James and Landon. Also, he is survived by his parents, Watson and Erika Kluttz; brother Dennis and extended family.
For 27 years, Tom pastored a church in Chesterfield County in addition to serving as county attorney in multiple localities. His joys in life were spending time with his wife and taking walks with her and being with his kids and grandkids. He was a loving husband and a devoted father and grandfather. Tom was well known for his generosity to his friends and family, giving of his resources and time to many people.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday May 4th, at 1:00 pm, at Hope Point Church. 10500 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832. A reception will be held after the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ministries he supported.
