Walter Daniel Henshaw, Sr.

Walter Daniel Henshaw, Sr., 78, of Powhatan, departed this life October 23, 2014. He was born February 10, 1936 in Chesterfield to the late Alton Pollard and Mary Hannah Henshaw. He is survived by wife, Audrey; two sons, Walter D. Henshaw, Jr.(Cindi) of Buckingham, James A. Henshaw (Deborah) of Cumberland; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three step children; Deborah Forrest (Greg), Scott Tibbs (Emily), Jeff Tibbs (Sherri); seven step grandchildren, ten step great grandchildren; brother, Alvin Henshaw (Maria) of Buckingham; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Dick, Eugene, Troy, Carl; two sisters, Jean and Shirley. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5pm in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1957 Capeway Rd. Powhatan and also where services will be held Monday at 11am.
