William Clyde Oglesby, Sr.

William "Pop" Oglesby, age 85 years old passed away November 2nd, 2022. Pop was born July 16th, 1937, in Chicago, IL. He was survived by his wife Sylvia, son Bill Jr., and three grandkids, Bobby, Jacob, and Summer. Sylvia and him were married for 69 years. Pop was someone who showed up for everyone, every single time. He spent his life working with his son to help him become a semi-professional motocross racer. This evolved him to create a family-owned business, Specialty Cars Inc. He loved with his whole heart and was supportive to everyone in every way. He took care of his family and grandkids and was determined to give his family everything and anything, with his best interest at heart. When the world took his son too soon, he moved mountains to make sure we his family had what we needed. We will miss your hugs everyday. A visitation will be held at Passion Community Church, Sunday November 6, 2022,from 1-2:00 PM followed at 2:00 pm by the Celebration of Life service. Internment in The Powhatan Community Cemetery.
